Coming to you live: Blog #1
Wassupp, welcome to my blogggg. This whole blog thing is new to me; I've never read or made a blog before so..we'll see how this plays out. My name is Yeanpu Nimely and I'm just a kid trying to get through my senior year without catching senioritis.
Currently in senior seminar, we are trying to generalize our topic for our senior project. I don't know about everybody else, but I found what I'm doing. My topic is Intrusive Relationship Thoughts. Based on my research, having intrusive thoughts is under the category of OCD. It's the idea that an individual has doubts over the suitability of their relationship with another person,like their loyalty, and constantly analyzing the depth of feelings for someone. This topic is a subtopic off of the overall concept of obsession. Being a human being, I feel like we all relate to this, do we not?
I have sketches that I need to expand on but I got it checked and Richburg said she loved my idea (A+ for Yeanpu). My first idea was to do a sculpture or a gif design but when i met with my group, they said it would be really cool if I did both so I was like what the heck. Might as well right? I understand a lot will have to go into this project but I don't care because it's gonna look so coool. (There are gonna be lazers or LED lights involved :0 )
This is the sculpture design that I decided to work with (I had 2 designs, but this right here..yea) I want to use polymer/sculpey clay because it's less mess and I feel like its easier to work with then ceramic clay.
And these right here are my gif design ideas, I forgot to show Mrs.Richburg these because we were so excited about the sculpture part that the gif design part was an afterthought lol.
He uses some unique technique I never seen executed before. Ever.
